Volunteer Committee Descriptions
Simmons Bank Championship volunteers have the opportunity to be involved in all aspects of the event. To help you choose where you might like to volunteer, we have split the committees up into distinct operational/division areas.

How do I register to be a volunteer?
To become a volunteer, explore our committee list above and learn more about the different roles available. We encourage you to choose a position that best matches your skills and interests. When signing up, you’ll have the opportunity to select your top three committee preferences. While we do our best to accommodate your choices, placement is based on availability. If you have any questions or need help deciding which role is the best fit for you, feel free to email volunteers@simmonsbankchampionship.com
What does it cost to volunteer?
The volunteer package is $85 (over $400 value) and includes:
- One (1) Simmons Bank Championship presented by Stephens Logoed Golf Polo
- One (1) Simmons Bank Championship presented by Stephens Logoed Pullover
- One (1) Simmons Bank Championship presented by Stephens Logoed Hat
- Clear Logoed Bag
- Invitation to Volunteer Party
- Volunteer Credential (providing access to the tournament on days you are not volunteering)
- Two (2) General Admission Tickets Per Day (October 26th – November 1st)
- Meals on working days
Can I purchase additional uniform items?
Yes, you will have the opportunity to purchase additional items at Uniform Distribution prior to tournament week and in Volunteer Headquarters during tournament week.
How many days do I have to volunteer?
Each volunteer must work a minimum of three (3) shifts. The shift will be 4 to 6 hours long.
How do I sign up to volunteer with my spouse, family, etc.? Can you schedule us for the same volunteer shift?
We will make every effort to accommodate your scheduling requests. Make sure to select similar availability to the person you wish to work with during the tournament and to let your chairperson know once they contact you. Shift coordination is only applicable within each committee (i.e. two people on different committees will not necessarily be scheduled at the same time).
Do I need to be a golfer to volunteer?
While some positions require golf knowledge, you do not need to be a golfer or have golf knowledge for all positions. Specific committees with required golf knowledge are noted on their description.
Where do I park?
Parking to be announced.
What do I need to wear?
Within your standard volunteer registration package, you will receive a golf polo, outerwear piece and a hat. Please wear khaki or black bottoms and comfortable walking shoes!
