LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – October 7, 2025 – Tournament officials announced today commitments from Thomas Bjorn, Justin Leonard and Vijay Singh in the second edition of the Simmons Bank Championship presented by Stephens, scheduled for October 20-26, 2025, at Pleasant Valley Country Club in Little Rock. Bjorn, winner of two PGA TOUR Champions tournaments this year, also has five top 10 finishes this season and is currently ranked 7th in the Charles Schwab Cup standings in his second year playing on the PGA TOUR Champions. The Denmark native, who finished tied for 7th at last year’s Simmons Bank Championship, has won 19 international titles during his career and has been a member of three European Ryder Cup teams. Leonard captured his first PGA TOUR Champions title earlier this year. He has five top 10 finishes this season and is 13th on the Charles Schwab Cup standings. He won 12 times on the PGA TOUR, including the 1997 Open Championship and the 1998 PLAYERS Championship. Singh, who also finished tied for 7th at last year’s Simmons Bank Championship, has five PGA TOUR Champions victories. He has four top 10 finishes this season and is currently 23rd in the Charles Schwab Cup standings. The Fiji native won 34 times on the PGA TOUR, including the 1998 and 2004 PGA Championship as well as the 2000 Masters Tournament. He won nine times in 2004 and was voted the PGA TOUR Player of the Year. Previously, tournament officials announced commitments from Angel Jiménez, currently No. 1 in the Schwab Cup standings, No. 2 Stewart Cink, No. 3 Steven Alker, No. 4 Ernie Els, and Darren Clarke No.10. Padraig Harrington, winner of the inaugural tournament in 2024, is scheduled to defend his title. Harrington, the World Golf Hall of Fame member, is currently No. 5 in the Charles Schwab Cup standings. The 54-hole tournament is the second leg of the Charles Schwab Playoffs with 54 players competing to advance to the playoff finals where the top 36 players in the standings qualify.
